Tong-Tong Music

The percussion musical attraction in Sumenep regency is performed in the Ramadhan month by serving various sounds coming from the musical instrument of bamboo material modified from traditional music with modern one as the companion and the arouse of the community at at pre-dawn eating meal in the Ramadhan month. It is completed with the drum that was called (Gendang Kembang), small drum (Simbal Kecil), small metalofon with three splints and a whistle. By the significant progress of Tong Tong music. At present this tradition becomes a regular competition along with the float procession carrying music instruments and the musicians.
